Hotel Gavarni exceeded our expectations. We’ll be happy to leave an honest review for those deciding whether to stay here. Overall: We spent weeks choosing a hotel, knowing that a wrong one could ruin our Paris trip. We looked for the right balance of location, price, and atmosphere - Gavarni was the right choice. Location: Centrally located, yet on a quiet side street. You hear the city without the noise, crowds, or aggressive street sellers. A short walk brings you to bakeries, cozy corners, and real French restaurants for locals. Hotel: This isn’t a modern luxury hotel - it’s vintage, full of Parisian charm. The old-style elevator, stained glass, and marble bathroom details make it feel like a step back in time. Minor wear only adds to the charm. Rooms: We stayed in the Eiffel Room under the rooftop. It’s much bigger than in the photos, with 3 balconies showing the Eiffel Tower and Paris rooftops. The morning sun and warm interior make the view unforgettable. Note: only upper floors get direct sunlight due to the narrow street and buildings. Service: Everything was clean and crisp, without the smell of harsh detergent. Linens were changed daily, tea and coffee restocked. Staff were polite, efficient, and non-intrusive - exactly what we wanted.

Nice quiet location but close to Eiffel Tower and close to hop on hop off bus. Front office staff especially Kabal friendly and welcoming - he always used my name which made me feel like he cared about my coming in and out. Since I travel on my own and am now a senior it is nice to be made feel at home. I stayed at this hotel almost 25 years ago and even though it is a little tired in parts I would not hesitate to recommend it. I had a very comfortable bed in a very quiet room. The bathroom is tiny but adequate - I can’t imagine a man being happy there as I am petite and I found it small!

I enjoyed the quaint French boutique feeling this hotel provided. It was a pleasure to interact with every staff member. I can't thank David (receptionist) enough! He ensured that my husband and I knew what metro and train to take to Disneyland Paris. I asked what time the last train left Disney...he didn't know, but he researched the answer and emailed it to me! The location was great. 10 minute walk to Eiffel Tower and very close to metro. Restaurants and pastry shops nearby. Would definitely stay again!

This hotel is conveniently located in proximity to the Eiffel Tower and dock where many of the Seine River cruises depart from. It is on a smaller street so we did not experience much noise although our room was overlooking the street. The hotel staff was very friendly especially the man at the front desk (I am sorry I forgot your name.). We had adjoining rooms as we were traveling with two teenagers who wanted their own room. It was ideal for our situation.

The breakfast was generous, the offer was the same for each day, but satisfactory. The hotel staff was friendly and very helpful. The location is just awesome, it's a 5-minute walk to the Passy subway station or Trocadero gardens with one of the nicest views of the Eiffel tower (by no surprise, the Eiffel tower is very close within a short walk distance).
